Last night out - IN ENGLISH
Ladies and gent's, the wind of change is sweeping graciously through the Blog of Christoffer and Lisa. Since we soon, very soon, are leaving Oh Canada for dear ol' Sweden I thought our Blog should change in contrary. Therefore, Im writing in english so my friends left in Canada can keep up with the news from the Roadtrip and with whats going on back in Sweden.
Last night was an awesome night! Me and Chris went for our last dinner at Nita and enjoyed the 5-course with wine. My intention was to take pictures of our full meal and it started of good....

Amuse Bouche of scallop, duck prosciutto and sqaush puré.

Side stripe prawn, pickled mushrooms and cauliflower and tempura beans.

Salad of housemade Coppa, spring leafs and sour onion ragou.

This little creature totally stole the show with his apperence on the ice. Its a Canadian Beaver and we completly lost our focus on taking pictures of the food.

So this is whats left of the 3rd course, a wonderful sea bass w housemade black garlic cappellini and artichoke. We couldn't take our eyes of the dazed beaver who time after time went into the water, dove under the ice and fetched something to eat. So, we forgot to perpetuate the main course and the dessert. But it was a woooonderful dinner!!! After dinner we went next door to meet some friends for a last night out and it turned out to be a great night!

Helene and Véro.

Sue and Sandra.

Colin, Travis, Sandra and Ryan.

Beautiful Saskia and danish Anders.

Snax and Chris.

The scary German guy.

And Mr Unibrow.
The kitchen crew also made a very welcomed visit later on but the camera was long lost by then, not because of the beaver though.... =) Thanks everyone for showing up and making our last night out truly memorable!
Whats left now of our stay in Whistler is packing, packing, forcing our bags to take on more stuff and wrestle them to get the zippers closed. Its cuite a work out! Soon, very soon, we are on our way....
Peace and love and all that stuff
