Two days on the road
After two more days practically spent on the road we finally got to Penticton this afternoon. Yesterday we left Powell River pretty early and drove down to Chilliwack, just slightly east of Vancouver. We had planned a nights rest in Chilliwack and were going to stay, for the first time this trip, in a B&B. When we arrived we found ourselves staying in a old-lady-lace-cluttered-papier-masche-freakshow-house!! Out of some kind of respect Im not going to reveal its name, I do believe that the lady who owned it had tried her best to make it cozy, in her own way....
Efter praktiskt taget två dagar på vägen vi kom till sist till Penticton i eftermiddags. Igår lämnade vi Powell River ganska tidigt och körde ner till Chilliwack, strax öster om Vancouver. Där hade vi planerat in en natts sömn och skulle bo, för första gången denna resa, på ett B & B. När vi kom dit befann vi oss som i en gammal tants-spets-dekorations-papier-masche-freakshow-hus! Av någon slags respekt kommer jag inte att avslöja B&B'ets namn, jag tror att damen som ägde det hade försökt sitt bästa för att göra det mysigt, på sitt sätt ....
I dont know, I totally went bananas when I saw these mice in a little hutch.
A fireplace, no real funtcion, but Oh it does so much for the atmosphere.

This genuine 1987's shelf in pure pine wood perfectly decorated by its owner with some....wait for it....oh yes, papier masche.
To shake the creepy feeling from the "loooovely" B&B Chris decided to take us girls on a ride, litterally! We went to see what Castle Fun Park was all about, and it sure had it all. Everything from THREE indoor mini golf courses to arcade games from the last century to a baseball batting course.
För att skaka av oss den läskiga känslan från det "härliga" B & B'et tog Sossa med oss tjejer på en åktur, bokstavligen! Vi åkte för att se vad Castle Fun Park hade att erbjuda, och nog hade allt. Allt från TRE inomhus minigolf banos till arkadspel från hela detta århundradet till en automatisk träningsbana för baseball.

After a nice breakfast at the B&B we headed east on Crowsnest Highway with Penticton as our goal.
Efter en god frukost styrde vi vår kosa, haha, österut på Crowsnest Highway med Penticton som mål.

So now we are in Wine country and are hoping for some nice weather, lazy days, and lots of wine!
